Legendary German techno festival Time Warp will make its Mexico City debut on November 20 and 21, 2026, bringing two nights of underground electronic music to Expo Santa Fe with a lineup featuring Ben Klock, Dax J, Sven Väth, Maceo Plex, Indira Paganotto, Reinier Zonneveld and more.
One of the most influential names in international techno culture is preparing for a historic new chapter.
Time Warp has officially confirmed its first edition in Mexico City, scheduled for November 20 and 21, 2026, at Expo Santa Fe.
Originally founded in Mannheim, Germany, in 1994, Time Warp has spent more than three decades establishing an international reputation for its commitment to underground electronic music, advanced production technology and immersive club experiences.
The festival’s arrival in Mexico City represents another step in its global expansion, introducing its distinctive approach to house and techno to one of Latin America’s most active electronic music communities.
The two-day event will feature established international figures, rising underground artists, special back-to-back performances and live electronic music sets.
Ben Klock, Dax J and Sven Väth Lead Friday’s Program
Friday, November 20, will open the festival with a lineup focused on different interpretations of underground techno.
One of the most anticipated performances will bring together Alarico and Ben Klock for a special back-to-back set.
Ben Klock has long been associated with Berlin’s techno scene, while Alarico has gained significant recognition through his contemporary approach to hardgroove and hypnotic techno.
Their performance will connect two different generations of underground electronic music.
Another notable collaboration sees Chlär join British techno artist Dax J.
Both producers are known for energetic, rhythm-driven performances, making their appearance one of the weekend’s major attractions for fans of faster and more intense techno.
Electronic music veteran Sven Väth will also perform on Friday.
A defining figure in German electronic music culture, Väth has played a major role in the international development of techno and electronic club music throughout his career.
The program also includes Maceo Plex, DVS1, Anfisa Letyago, The Blessed Madonna, Ogazón and Andy Martin.
Another special back-to-back performance will feature DJ Stingray 313 and Helena Hauff, bringing together two artists strongly associated with electro and underground electronic music.
Mexican duo Zombies in Miami will complete the day’s program with a live performance.
Indira Paganotto, Reinier Zonneveld and Novah Take Over Saturday
Saturday, November 21, introduces another extensive selection of international artists.
Spanish DJ and producer Indira Paganotto is among the major names confirmed for the second night.
Known for her distinctive psytechno sound, Paganotto has developed an international following through productions and performances that combine psychedelic influences with driving techno rhythms.
Dutch producer Reinier Zonneveld will also appear, presenting one of his signature live performances.
Zonneveld has established a reputation for combining synthesizers, electronic instruments and real-time production techniques, offering a performance format that differs from conventional DJ sets.
Belgian artist Novah will bring her energetic approach to contemporary hard techno, while Clara Cuvé and SPFDJ will join forces for a back-to-back set.
Saturday’s program also includes Franky Rizardo, Beltran, Cristobal Pesce, Desiree and PARAMIDA.
For fans of underground house, one of the standout performances will feature DJ Tennis alongside Seth Troxler.
The lineup also includes a collaborative set from David Löhlein and La Bad Curly.
The combination of house, techno and faster contemporary electronic sounds creates a varied program for the festival’s closing night.
Time Warp Brings Its Signature Production to Mexico
Time Warp’s international reputation extends far beyond its musical lineups.
Since its creation in 1994, the festival has become closely associated with immersive audiovisual production, carefully designed sound systems and large-scale indoor electronic music experiences.
Lighting installations, synchronized visual elements and architectural stage concepts play a fundamental role in the festival’s identity.
Rather than treating production as a secondary element, Time Warp develops its environments around the interaction between music, lighting and the dancefloor.
The organizers intend to bring that philosophy to Mexico City, offering an experience centered on electronic music and audience immersion.
Both festival days are scheduled to begin at 5 PM and conclude at 2 AM the following morning.
The event will take place at Expo Santa Fe, located in the western part of Mexico City.
A Major Moment for Mexico’s Underground Electronic Scene
Time Warp’s arrival reflects the continuing international development of Mexico’s electronic music industry.
Mexico City has become a major destination for international DJs, club events and large-scale electronic music festivals, attracting audiences from across the country and Latin America.
The city’s underground scene has developed a strong connection with techno, house and alternative electronic music, supported by a growing network of clubs, promoters and independent events.
By bringing its established international festival concept to the Mexican capital, Time Warp creates another opportunity for local audiences to experience artists who have shaped electronic music across several decades.
The inclusion of Mexican performers such as Andy Martin and Zombies in Miami also establishes a connection between the international lineup and the country’s domestic electronic music community.
Time Warp Continues Its Global Expansion
The Mexico City edition forms part of a broader international schedule for the Time Warp brand.
Throughout 2026, the festival has continued developing events beyond its original home in Mannheim, including editions and collaborations in different international markets.
The upcoming Mexican event will coincide with Time Warp’s New York edition, also scheduled for November 20 and 21.
A further event is planned for Los Angeles on November 27 and 28.
This expansion highlights the continued international demand for underground electronic music experiences.
For Mexico City, the first Time Warp edition represents an opportunity to host a festival with more than 30 years of history and a strong connection to global techno culture.
Time Warp Mexico 2026 will take place on November 20 and 21 at Expo Santa Fe, Mexico City.
The event is open to attendees aged 18 and over, with tickets available for both festival days.
