DURO Festival XXL returns to Montmeló on October 10 and 11, 2026, bringing two days of hard techno, industrial sounds and high-energy electronic music across three stages, with 98% of its total capacity already sold.
Barcelona’s hard techno scene is preparing for one of its biggest weekends of the year as DURO Festival XXL takes over Espai Can Guitet in Montmeló.
The two-day event brings together an international lineup featuring Klangkuenstler, Kobosil, Ben Klock, Vendex, Fatima Hajji, Novah, Rooler, Chlär and many more.
With three dedicated stages and a program spanning multiple styles of techno and hard dance, the festival aims to deliver an intense experience for fans of the harder side of electronic music.
Organizers have reported that 98% of the festival’s total capacity has already been sold, highlighting the strong demand for this October edition.
Klangkuenstler Leads an Impressive International Lineup
One of the most anticipated performances comes from German techno heavyweight Klangkuenstler, who is scheduled to deliver a special two-and-a-half-hour DJ set on Saturday, October 10.
Known for his powerful, fast-paced techno and uncompromising approach to the genre, Klangkuenstler has established himself as one of the defining artists of the contemporary hard techno movement.
Sunday’s program will bring another impressive selection of international talent, including Kobosil, Vendex, Onlynumbers and WINSON.
The lineup also includes a series of special back-to-back performances, with Andrés Campo joining Future.666 and Spanish electronic music figures Fatima Hajji and Buenri sharing the decks.
Three Stages Exploring Different Sides of Techno
DURO Festival XXL features three stages designed to showcase different styles and approaches to high-energy electronic music.
The main Duro Stage hosts some of the festival’s headline performances, while Black Hangar focuses on a selection of underground techno artists.
Black Hangar’s program includes Ben Klock, Alarico and Chlär on Sunday, alongside Saturday performances from Novah, Santøs and Cera Khin.
Meanwhile, Cargo Stage brings harder sounds into the spotlight with artists such as Kruelty, Rooler, Krowdexx, So Juice, Anderex and Toxic Machinery.
The combination of established techno names and artists associated with contemporary hard dance reflects the festival’s increasingly diverse musical direction.
An Official Afterparty Extends the Experience
For attendees looking to continue the experience after the festival’s closing sets, DURO has also organized an official afterparty.
Scheduled for Sunday, October 11, from 11 PM until 6 AM the following morning, the event will take place at Terminal Sabadell, formerly known as Waka.
Located approximately 15 minutes by car from the main festival site, the venue will host an additional night dedicated to hard techno.
The afterparty operates as a separate event, with its own ticketing arrangements, including special admission options for DURO Festival attendees.
Hard Techno Continues Its Expansion in Spain
The return of DURO Festival XXL reflects the growing visibility of hard techno and harder electronic music styles within Spain’s festival circuit.
Artists associated with industrial techno, high-BPM productions and contemporary hard dance are increasingly appearing on large-scale festival lineups.
DURO’s format brings these different sounds together in Montmeló, offering audiences the opportunity to experience both established international performers and emerging names across a full weekend.
With a nearly sold-out edition, three stages and a lineup spanning several generations of electronic music, DURO Festival XXL is set to make Montmeló a major destination for hard techno fans this weekend.
The festival takes place on October 10 and 11, 2026, at Espai Can Guitet in Montmeló, near Barcelona, Spain.
