Argentine tech house DJ and producer Jay de Lys has released his new two-track EP, In Europe, marking his debut on Cloonee’s Hellbent Records. Released on October 23, 2026, the project features “In Europe” and “Way Up” and arrives following an extensive period of international touring, including performances in Ibiza, North America and Amsterdam. A new Hellbent FM mix followed on October 29.

Jay de Lys Makes His Hellbent Records Debut

Jay de Lys continues expanding his international discography with In Europe, his first release through Hellbent Records, the imprint established by British tech house producer Cloonee.

The EP arrived on October 23, featuring two original productions that reflect the Argentine artist’s rhythmic, club-oriented approach to house music.

According to Beatport, both recordings are classified as Tech House and run at 129 BPM.

The title track, “In Europe,” has an extended duration of six minutes and two seconds, while “Way Up” runs for five minutes and 44 seconds.

The release carries the catalogue number HB067E.

Its arrival represents another addition to a discography that already includes music on several recognised electronic labels, including Black Book Records, Toolroom, Paradise, elrow Music and PIV.

Inside the New “In Europe” EP

The two tracks approach the dancefloor through complementary arrangements.

“In Europe” is built around controlled percussion, rhythmic repetition and electronic textures that gradually create tension.

Its arrangement incorporates vocal elements without allowing them to dominate the instrumental structure, keeping the emphasis on groove and movement.

“Way Up,” meanwhile, takes a more energetic approach, combining tightly programmed drums with fragmented vocal samples and a progressively developing rhythmic pattern.

Both productions reflect the artist’s established interest in combining functional club arrangements with detailed percussion.

The EP is designed for DJ sets, with extended versions that allow the tracks to develop through transitions and longer mixing sequences.

According to promotional information accompanying the release, both tracks had already appeared in Cloonee’s performances before publication.

The announcement also reported support from Wade, Ilario Alicante, East End Dubs and SOSA.

These reported endorsements provide additional context for the release, although they should not be interpreted as evidence of chart success.

Who Is Jay de Lys?

Originally from Buenos Aires, Argentina, Jay de Lys developed his musical identity through the country’s established electronic music culture.

Growing up in a family with a strong interest in music, he became increasingly attracted to house music and the international DJs performing in Buenos Aires.

In an interview published by Mixmag Latin America in March 2026, he reflected on the importance of experiencing club culture from the audience’s perspective before beginning his professional career.

That experience contributed to his interest in the relationship between DJs, musical progression and crowd response.

Marco Carola has been an important influence on his development, alongside the broader house and techno culture connected to international events such as Music On.

Over time, De Lys established himself as a producer working primarily within tech house, combining rolling basslines, detailed percussion and rhythmic arrangements.

His music has appeared on labels associated with several different branches of underground house music.

From Toolroom and Paradise to Black Book Records

Before joining Hellbent, Jay de Lys had developed a catalogue spanning multiple international labels.

One of his notable earlier releases was “No Sleep Club,” issued through Toolroom Trax in 2022.

The track brought his percussion-driven approach to the Toolroom catalogue and helped introduce his productions to audiences following the British label.

In 2023, he released Tired Of Loving through Jamie Jones’ Paradise imprint.

The EP included the title track and “One Bad Bix,” extending his presence within the house and tech house circuit.

His relationship with Chris Lake’s Black Book Records has also been an important part of his recent activity.

In February 2026, he returned to the label with “Loaded Clipz,” accompanied by a remix from UK production duo RSquared.

The release followed earlier Black Book tracks including “Billz” and “On My Mind.”

Additional material in 2026 has included “Come Inside,” released through tszr in April, and a collaboration with Simon Kidzoo and Mønölitio titled “Into The Light,” included in Cecille’s SUMMER 2026 collection.

Together, these recordings illustrate the range of labels that have featured his music while maintaining a consistent connection to club-focused house production.

Ibiza and North America: An Expanding International Schedule

The release of In Europe follows a particularly active touring period for the Argentine producer.

During the 2026 Ibiza season, De Lys appeared in programming associated with ANTS, FLOW, Eastenderz, elrow, PIV and Cecille.

His schedule then extended to North America, with appearances reported in Miami, Toronto and Montreal.

He also made his first appearance at CRSSD Festival, the San Diego electronic music event known for connecting house, techno and other contemporary electronic styles.

The California booking represents a relevant milestone within his growing presence in the United States.

Following his North American appearances, De Lys returned to Europe for performances connected with Barcelona, Paris and Amsterdam Dance Event.

The timing provides a fitting context for an EP titled In Europe, connecting its release with the international touring activity surrounding his career.

A New Hellbent FM Mix Arrives October 29

Just six days after the EP’s release, Jay de Lys also appeared in Hellbent’s DJ mix series.

Hellbent FM, Episode 017: Jay de Lys was released on October 29, 2026.

The recording contains 15 tracks and has a total duration of approximately one hour and one minute, according to Apple Music.

The mix offers listeners another opportunity to explore his musical selections within the context of the Hellbent project.

For producers working in club music, DJ mixes remain a useful complement to original releases, allowing audiences to hear how individual records fit within a broader musical progression.

The combination of a new EP and a subsequent mix gives De Lys two closely connected releases during the final week of October.

What’s Next for Jay de Lys?

Jay de Lys continues to maintain an international presence through recorded music and live performances.

His current official listings include appearances in Florida during December, while his recent catalogue demonstrates continued relationships with independent labels across the house music industry.

The release of In Europe on Hellbent Records marks another development in that trajectory.

Rather than representing a sudden change in musical direction, the EP builds on the rhythmic production style that has characterised his previous work.

With a growing discography, appearances across Europe and North America, and connections to labels including Toolroom, Paradise, Black Book and Hellbent, Jay de Lys continues to establish his place within contemporary international tech house.

For an artist whose musical roots lie in Buenos Aires club culture, In Europe represents another step in a career increasingly connected to dancefloors around the world.
